Ubuntu is probably one of the best unix distros to start out on, or to use as a workstation.

Simply visit the Ubuntu Ship It site and follow the instructions.

    1 CDs requested in 2007-03-06. 1 CDs approved and sent to the shipping company in 2007-03-13. Please note requests usually take from 4 to 6 weeks to deliver, depending on the country of shipping.

    I requested mine some time ago, I expect to receive mine soon.

    Orderd ubuntoo a few times and they have always come pretty quick.
